End of ICT-VN project

The ICT-VN project has ended Dec. 31, 2012. We want to thank their collaboration to all who have made this possible. All regions involved are to maintain their collaboration in the future.

Presentation of the ICT-VN project results in West-Transdanubia Region, in Hungary

Meeting of non-profit organisations, research institutes and innovative entrepreneurs who are interested in ICT cluster and network cooperation took place on the 13th of November at the building of Incubator and Innovation Centre in Nagykanizsa (West-Transdanubia, Hungary).
The meeting was organized by West-Transdanubian RDA, Pannon Novum RIA and the University of Pannonia in close co-operation of two EU-funded projects to use the project sinergies. (HU-CRO CBC Programme - I3CT project, INTERREG IVC ICT-VN).
In the first half of the meeting the participants could study the success factors of the innovation management in deepth then they get to know the main results and achievements of ICT-VN such as a success story in interregional project implementation.
Mr Roland Dancsecs, member of the project team held a general presentation about the project implementation and the main achievements then Mr Zoltan Kalcsu introduced the main steps and statements of the Transfer Plan Professional European Language Portfolio (PROF-ELP) in order to support the regional adaptation of the selected good practice.
The presentation followed by questions from the representative persons of non-profit organisations, associations, universities and entrepreneurs.

ICT-VN Final Conference

The Final Conference of the Project was held at the European Parliament, in Brussels, on November 14th. There where interventions from the project and the participating Regions, as well as from other Regions, the INTERREG Secretariat and the European Commission, with the topic of ‘Opportunities for SMEs in 2014-2020’.

ICT-VN publications

ICT-VN has publish three document: ‘Regional Policies Good Practices’, with the more than seventy good practices identified; ‘Good Practices Guide’, describing in-depth the eight good practices selected; and ‘Handbook of Transfer Plans’, with the eight regional plans to transfer and adapt the original policies. All of them are available in our Web, in the section ‘Documents’

Fundación Dédalo at the Open Days 2012 organised by the European Union in Brussels

These Open Days are an opportunity for hundreds of national, regional and local representatives and authorities from all around Europe to get together and share experiences oriented to the development of European regions.
The flagship event shall be attended by Mr Johannes Hahn, EU Commissioner for Regional Policy, and Mr Ramon Luis Valcárcel Siso, President of the Committee of the Regions.
This meeting also seeks to highlight the importance of the Interreg IVC Programme, funded by the ERDF, to promote the exchange and transfer of knowledge across Europe, focusing on the efforts made by agenda and public policy makers.
Fundación Dédalo is attending the meeting on behalf of the ICT Value Networks Project (ICT-VN), as lead partner. The purpose of this initiative is to promote regional development strategies of small enterprises, through the use of new technologies, based on the exchange of best practices among the eight regions participating in the project.
It is important to stress the presence of Fundación Dédalo and the participation of the ICT-VN Project – representing the region of Navarre at these Open Days, considering the impact of the event and the visibility at European level of the work being conducted within the region.
